Affirmation of Faith
I believe that Jesus Christ is the Messiah, who came from Heaven to Earth in the form of man to die for my sins on a cross. I believe that He rose again, on the third day so that I am born as a new creation.
Romans 10:9
“that if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
2 Corinthians 5:21
“For our sake He made Him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.”
2 Corinthians 5:17
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation: the old has gone, the new has come!”
I am saved by grace through faith alone and not by good works I do for His Kingdom.
Ephesians 2:8-9
“For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.”
I believe that God is triune in nature, as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
2 Corinthians 13:14
“The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.”

Service
I believe my ways are not my own, but that everything I do belongs to God.
2 Chronicles 7:14
“If My people who are called by My Name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”
I will follow Jesus’s example and serve the community with a humble heart.
Mark 10:45
“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.”
I recognize that my life is to be devoted to the building of God’s Kingdom
Matthew 28:19-20
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Integrity
I recognize the power of the spoken word and will not say anything that discredits others or myself.
Proverbs 19:1
“Better is a poor man who walks in his integrity than he who is perverse in speech and is a fool.”
I recognize that my actions are not only a reflection of myself but also the Christian community.
Hebrews 13:18
“Pray for us, for we are sure that we have a clear conscience, desiring to act honorably in all things.”
I recognize the importance of hard work, knowing that my efforts reflect the work of God.
Colossians 3:23
“Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men,”
